Multi-Purpose Ladder Locking Mechanism User Instructions

The locking mechanisms (hinges) used in the TOROS, QUADRO, DUAL and DUALTELE, series must be used in accordance with the instructions for occupational health and safety. You can watch our video below showing the correct usage.

Locking

When the hinges are locked, a “click” sound should be heard. Ensure that both mechanisms are locked. The hinge pins must be in the “locked” position, indicated by a green color and a lock icon on the mechanism.

Pre-Use Checks

• Before using the ladder, ensure that all locks are secured.
• Once the locking mechanisms are engaged, do not interfere with the hinge locks.
• The ladder must never be used while the locks are open.

Ladder Angle

• Ladder feet (stoppers) must face the correct direction. (Applies to the Toros model. Always follow the warnings on the ladder.)
• The ladder must be opened at the correct angle. Ensure that the hinges are locked in both A-frame and lean-to positions.
• In the wall-leaning position, do not open the joint to its full extent. Leave it in the locked position.

These instructions apply to the multi-purpose folding ladder models manufactured by Çağsan Merdiven: TOROS, QUADRO, DUAL and DUALTELE series.

These instructions, which are mandatory for safe use, must be followed.

	Ensure that the hinges are locked.
	Maximum load capacity in platform position: 150 kg. (Platform position should only be used on the 11-step model.)
	Prohibited positions: Do not use in "M" position, upside-down position, or in partially opened/unlocked positions.
	If the ladder is to be used as a platform, only the platform board recommended by the manufacturer should be used. The board must be secured before use. (Only for the 11-step model.)
